Strength Meter changes how password fields look. It works by appending a password strength indicator next to the password input, indicator that changes its status and color based on the inputted password string.
Depending on the type of characters used and on the string's length, the password strength indicator will go through the following states: Too short, Very Weak, Weak, Good, Strong, and Very Strong.
To move through these steps, the plugin uses a special algorithm which produces a score for each entered password.
The steps can be customized at will by simply re-assigning score levels.
The Strength Meter plugin also supports a special button (checkbox) at the right side of the password field, which when checked will reveal the password in clear text so users can review what they've wrote.
A demo is included with the Strength Meter package.
