The vMaster command toolbar is used to access various
setup and configuration databases as described below.
Browse
Clicking the Browse will allow you to browse
various databases to access module configurations, locations, users,
currently running modules and log files.
Cameras
Clicking Camera will take you directly to the
Camera Maintenance tree-view. In addition to the Expand and Collapse
buttons you may also right-click any branch of the tree to expand or
collapse that entire branch. From here you can setup new cameras and
capture servers.
Control
Clicking the control will allow you to view or
enter your Tereo serial number and client specific information. After the
initial installation, set the vMaster Server IP to the desired IP number
of your network interface adapter. If your system incorporates multiple
adapters or IP numbers, please enter the IP number that you will require
all Tereo Modules to communicate through. Set the port to any unused port
number, 8050 is recommended.
Enter your company name, then click on Enter Serial Number to enter
your Tereo Pro’s serial number. If you have purchased additional camera
upgrade codes, click on Enter Camera Upgrade Codes and enter any upgrade
codes you have purchased. After entering your upgrade codes the Licensed
Camera Count will increase according to your purchase. Upgrade codes may
be purchased and entered at any time.
Modules Overview
vCapture
The vCapture is a client server engine used to acquire camera images and
serve them up to all your Tereo Modules.
vStore
The vStore is an image archive engine that stores images based on time. A variety
of storage and frame rates are provided to allow you to archive all your
images based on your exact requirements.
vMonitor
Use vMonitor for simple viewing and monitoring work stations. You can
setup and run as many viewing stations as you require on low cost PC
systems.
vConsole
The vConsole is a highly functional viewing application. Use this when you
require more viewing options such as alarm event notification, hot
recording and special display modes.
vMotion
The vMotion engine is used to process and store images based on motion
detected. Many of the complexities of motion detection have been combined
into simple intuitive controls that allow you to quickly setup and get
running.
vPlay
The vPlay is your image playback module, just select the camera name, date
and time and vPlay will start playing archived images for you. Full
functionality is provided for you to view your images plus the ability to
export or print.
vSchedule
Use the vSchedule module to schedule all your cameras on and off times.
Scheduling is broken down into 15 minute time blocks covering every day of
the week.
vWeb
vWeb is a powerful image server that serves up images on your WAN or the
Internet. Use vWebMon to view live images or for remote playback of
archived images.
vGuard
The vGuard module handles all pager and email notifications. Use this to
recieve notifications of important events and alarms in your Tereo
project.
vAlarm
This module is used to setup and process event triggers and alarm outputs.
Use vAlarm to actuate a relay output when and event is raised, or use it
to monitor external inputs to trigger an output event in your Tereo
project. |
