What is TakeNotes:

TakeNotes is a simple note pad program which runs from a global floating window on your computer screen. This means that the note pad can always be accessed, without the need to switch to a separate application (often hiding other programs from view) or to scribe notes onto scraps of paper.

TakeNotes is ideal for students, professionals and anyone who does any amount of research on the internet. The program window can be placed in a corner and typed into while still allowing full control of the web browser you are using.

If you computer crashes or there is a power cut, your notes automatically return as soon as you restart the program, thanks to the handy autosave feature, which records every change you make for a full recovery.

TakeNotes also provides access to simple text styling tools, allowing you to change the font and size of the note, and use bold, italic and underlined text.

Once your note taking is complete, you can copy and paste the contents of the note into you favourite word processor for printing or incorporation into a document.
