The Document Window: Background

Colors

Change the background color of a slide by clicking on one of the color wells. The first color well is the default background color (slide 0).

The color wells can be configured by clicking on the Configure Colors button to switch to configuration mode. Then click on a color to change it using the system color chooser.
Slides with already set background colors will keep their color unchanged when reconfiguring the color wells.
Changing the first default color well will change all slides which have no special color set.

Click Configure Extit to exit the color configuration mode.

Image

A background image can be set for all slides. Configure using the Choose Image popup menu and select an image file of type bmp, gif, jpg, jpeg, pict, png, tif or tiff. An alternative method is to drag an image file to the image preview box at the right of the popup menu.

If the image contains transparency, be sure the choose a good background color.

Once the image is set, a preview is shown and the name is displayed in gray under the popup menu. Now use the same popup menu to set a mode how the image will be shown in the Projector:

• Hide image

The image path is recorded in the document, but the image will not be shown.

• Original size

The image will be shown in it's original size centered in the Projector. No scaling is done.

• Fill screen

The Projector background will be filled by the image, stretching it if necessary to fit from edge to edge.

• Scale image

The image will be centered in the Projector, scaled up or down to fit, keeping width and height constrained.

• Tile

The image will be tiled to fill the Projector background. Mostly used with small pictures that must be repeated.
