How to obtain a demo software key for SMSLibX

This application requires a software key to be used with your GSM modem/phone.

If you did not compile an online request module yet, please click here to obtain a free software key:

• An e-mail request will be opened.
• Please specify your GSM device brand, model and IMEI code and send us your request.
• You'll receive in a 48 hours a demo license key permitting unlimited SMS sending and receiving for a limited trial period.

Otherwise, if you're going to use the software in simulation mode only (without a GSM device), then no software key is needed.

WARNING:  Without a valid software keyonly SIMULATION mode is allowed
(you won't be able to send real SMS with a GSM device) !!!

What is an IMEI code?

GSM modems and phones are uniquely identified by an identity code called IMEI (International Mobile station Equipment Identity).

Why do you need my IMEI code?

Your modem IMEI code will be exclusively applied to the software key for demo software activation purposes.

How can I obtain IMEI code from my GSM modem/phone?

You can obtain your GSM modem/phone IMEI code as follows:

• from your GSM phone:
  • type the special code *#06# on phone keyboard
    
    
• from your GSM modem:
  • search it nearby the barcode that's onto/inside the GSM device box or package (don't be confused with IMEI and serial number)
  • if you cannot find it, open a connection to the device using HyperTerminal (Windows menu Start>Accessories>Communications) and type the following command:
    AT+CGSN <return>
