Click on the Wallet unique print size for the pose in the Pose Selection pane:

The Picture Placement pane will display the picture centered in a rectangular area that is the same aspect ratio as a Wallet-sized print (2½" x 3½").

The current manipulation mode is indicated in the upper-left corner of the Picture Placement pane.  The default manipulation mode is set to Move, as indicated by thePasted Graphic 7.tiff icon.

On all four sides of the print, there are edge lock controls which we will cover in a later step.

While the original image has a landscape orientation, the print of the boy would look much better with a portrait orientation.  To make this change, select the Flip Orientation item from the Photo menu:

Click on the image and drag up until the top edge of the image meets the top edge of the print.  By default, the movement of the image follows the movement of your mouse.  If you need finer-grain control over the placement of the image, hold down the shift key.  Alternatively, the dial controls can be used for fine-grain control (by default) or more gross-level adjustments by holding down the shift key.

To stop any further changes in the top edge picture placement, select the Lock Top Edge item of the Photo menu (or click the top lock icon):

Now we need to scale and move the picture until it fills the print the way we want it.  Change the manipulation mode to Scale from the Photo menu, then grow the image by either clicking on the image and dragging the mouse or turning either of the dials.

You may need to transition back and forth between the Scale and Move manipulation modes in order to get the placement just right.  As an alternate method to changing the manipulation mode via the items in the Photo menu, simply remain in the Move mode but temporarily enter the Scale mode by holding down the <Command> key.
