RAID OROM Update:

Below is the list of OROM skus for ICH10R controller and ICH9M-E controller. For RAID option ROM for older controllers please refer the 8.0.0.1014 alpha kit# 12382 or General OROM and System BIOS kit# 12913.

1)    RAID option ROM and utilities for ICH10R: We have two SKUs released for ICH10R

         One SKU with all features supported in ICH10R for 8.0 which is released along with this kit(13312). This SKU supports RAID0/1/5/10, Intel Rapid Recover Technology and support for data volumes >=2TB.

         Second SKU that supports Base RAID (RAID0/1/5/10) capability and support for data volumes greater than or equal to 2TB released as a separate kit#13310.

2)      RAID option ROM and utilities for ICH9M-E: This SKU supports RAID0/1, Intel Rapid Recover Technology and and allows only Intel Rapid Recover Technology volumes to span eSATA.

Possible Issue regarding File writes on Windows XP with Service Pack 2

Issue description: System hangs, ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES or ERROR_NOT_ENOUGH_QUOTA observed when writing large numbers of files on Windows XP with Service Pack 2.

Resolution: Contact Microsoft* to receive the hot fix described by KB article 888413.
