Using the program

1. It is necessary in the application settings, to select the language and voice announcer
2. Start Skype conversation with person you are going to talk to
3. In INSERT translator for Skype, click Connect button

In microphone you need to speak clearly and expressively. Everything that is pronounced, it will be recognized, written, translated and spoken. In addition to the pronunciation of the translation, one can listen speaking of partner with whom you are in a conversation. If it is running a video call, the interlocutors can watch each other. Parallel with the conversation it can be used to manually enter a message. When a message is typed, press the Enter key, and the message will be translated and spoken to another computer. If it is on another computer running INSERT Translator for Skype, the recipient will be able to listen to the voice of the first computer and a voice that pronounces the translation. Conversations and translation are printed on the screen so that it can be read in parallel. If on the other computer is not installed INSERT Translator for Skype, messages can be translated on the first computer, but on another computer, voice do not pronounce messages. If the INSERT Translator for Skype is installed on another computer, it is enough that at each computer is configured language spoken on this computer.

One of the more advanced functions of INSERT Translator for Skype is a group conversation. Using Skype conference, more than one person can speak several different languages. All participants Skype conference can speak in their mother tongue and the other participants will listen or read synchronized translation into your language.

Recommendations for better voice recognition

The microphone should be as close to the mouth of the speaker, about 2 cm from the edge of the lip. Microphone sensitivity should be set to the lowest acceptable level, in order not to record background noise. Words that are hard to recognize, can be typed directly into the edit box for messages. With this application, we recommend you to use headphones so that the microphone captures voice only and not background noise, which can significantly reduce the accuracy of speech recognition.

In the upper part of the window there is a space to display conversation text and messages provided by the program. This control is read-only.

Below is the edit box to manually enter the message. When a message is entered, it is sent by pressing the Enter key.

In the lower part of the window are buttons that are used for basic program commands:

At the bottom of the window is a status bar with the following information:

• On the left side you can find information about the settings of the language spoken on the first computer.
• On the right side you can find information on the program settings for the language spoken on another computer.

Each section shows the following information:

• Name of the language.
• The ability to translate, recognize and pronounce supported languages.
• In parentheses are the first letters of the possibilities of translation and pronunciation, that are currently included in the program settings.

The settings window

In this window, there are two groups for the selection and testing of language and voice to pronounce:

1. My language. Refers to the language used on the first computer
• Edit box Containing the text that is used to test the pronunciation in the chosen language.
• List of languages. You must choose a language spoken on the first computer.
• Numerical control for the selection of voices for the selected language. It may be zero if the speech is not supported for the selected language.
• Button to test the selected voice for the selected language.
• Control to turn on or off the selected language translation. This control should be turned off. Turn on only if on the other computer does not exist INSERT Translator for Skype and wants to send the translated text.
• Control to turn on or off the selected language speech. This control should be turned off. Turns on if you want to program on the first computer in the same language repeat what has just been said.
2. Foreign Language. Refers to the language used on another computer
• Edit box - containing the text that is used to test the pronunciation in the chosen language.
• List of languages. You must mark the language spoken on another computer only if on the other computer does not exist INSERT Translator for Skype.
• Numerical control for the selection of voices for the selected language. It may be zero if the speech is not supported for the selected language.
• Button to test the selected voice for the selected language.
• Control to turn on or off the selected language translation. This control should be turned on. Turn off only if the speech from another computer does not need translation.
• Control to turn on or off the selected language speech. This control should be turned on. Turn off only if the speech from another computer does not need to pronounce on the first computer.

Button interface language. Opens a window in which selects the language that is used for program interface.

Button Save Changes. Accept the changes made to the settings.

Button Cancel. Closes the settings window without accepting the changes.

The Interface language window

List Language. List to select the language used to display the program, messages and help. Originally contains the interface languages that were completed.

Button Remove language. Remove language from the language interface list and returns it to the list of automatic translation.

Button More languages. Open window with automatic translated interfaces.

Button OK. Saves the language from the language interface list. This language will be applied if the window settings choose Save Changes button.

Button Cancel. Language on the Interface language list will not be remembered.

Window More languages

List Language. The choice of automatically translated languages that can be used to display controls, program messages and help. It contains interface languages which are obtained by automatic translation, and not completed. It is used only if the user can not use any of the completed program interface languages, and such translation is acceptable to him.

Button Add language. Move your language from the list with automatic translations to the list of interface languages.

Button Cancel. Language will not be added.

Window About the Program

In the Edit box are the basic information about the program version, the user number, serial number and status of the program.

Button Buy License. Opens page for online purchase license.

Button Check license. For 24 hours after payment of the funds, activating this button retrieve your license.
